Well I just got it out of the package yesterday.
Nothing stands out as particularly ‘bad’ or of poor quality.
Overall I am very pleased with it (although I’ve obviously not taken it out on any serious treks yet…). As a matter of fact the only thing I would really change is the color of the rain fly… bright yellow? Clearly the idea is to be easily spotted, but GUESS WHAT TETON: SOME OF US DON’T WANT TO BE SEEN. I suppose I’ll paint it up with a permanent marker.
Anywho – enough rambling. It’s a solid deal at a great price. Yes, there are little things that I could complain about as far as the design goes, but anyone who wants to complain can find a reason to – and I’m choosing to see it for what it is – a nice value for the price.
Lastly – one of my main concerns when shopping around Amazon for a pack was the sizing… I’m 5′7 with probably a 30 inch waist or so.
It seems to have no problem sizing down to fit me.
There are other great packs if you browse around, but few are this reasonably price while being this capable at the same time.
